Traveling through the area, my husband loves catfish and we stopped at Leon’s. Their food was fresh and no doubt homemade. Catfish was perfect! I loved the hush puppies and coleslaw! Many thanks for good cooking!

I stopped to get a chef salad with fried chicken. My salad did have topping but the no lettuce just greens. Didn't like it and for 15.00 wasn't worth it. The greens it had would have been better with lettuce. And yes I read the menu.

Leon's is a local family owned restaurant with some of the best catfish in the US! If you are in the area you gotta stop by and try some! Get the catfish and shrimp combo, and try the hush puppies with the cheese dip. Delicious! Also, their service staff is amazing! I can't wait to come back!

My lady has frequented this spot with her late grandma, so we went to grandma's favorite spot in remembrance. The establishment was clean even though it was well into dinner service. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The owner of the restaurant was right in the middle of things and was making sure everyone was comfortable and happy with service and food. The best part was the food! Homemade pickles, fantastic fresh hushpuppies with an unusual but outstanding homemade sauce, fresh tasting catfish, and let me say the best steak we have ordered at a restaurant in years! I was not expecting such a perfect piece of meat when we ordered the ribeye! It was so good, that I didn't even think of snapping a picture! I cut into it to make sure it was cooked to my preference, and it disappeared into delicious bites! We will definitely be recommending this spot to anyone who visits the area. The catfish house with perfect steak.

We got our food. The fries were cold. So I asked for hot ones. She brought them out, no problem. The fish & shrimp & coleslaw was good. Hushpuppys where pretty good too. The ice tea tasted fresh too. The atmosphere could be updated some. But over all food & service was good.

We ate here two nights in a row, that’s how good it is! It was just as good tonight as it was yesterday. We even had the same waitress and she remembered us! She was very sweet and on the ball!

Went for supper tonight. I always get the catfish and shrimp but decided to try the ribeye steak. I will stick with the catfish and shrimp. The steak had alot of fat and was tough to cut. I did enjoy the side salad that came with the steak. My husband did enjoy his frog leg dinner.
